I'm starting work on my HOF entry for this year, I started last year and it stressed me out that I had to stop. Last night while just sketching some ideas for an assignment I got one of my stress migraines. I haven't had one in months. So I'm afraid that they're going to keep going and I'm not going to be able to finish my HOF entry again this year. I picked up a bottle of Exedrin, a bag of choclate, and a couple bottles of coke, those are the only things that make my migraines go away, so I'll keep them handy whenever I'm working on my Entry layouts.

Also I've started another blog(not that i updated that one ofter either) Daily Disney where I keep my notes about upcoming Disney trips.

Day 2 8/28 My 20th Birthday:

Morning EMH at Animal Kingdom. We got there right before 8, I got my AP. When the gates opened we went to EE, it was awesome. WE wondered over to Safari and got a fastpass, the line at 8:30 was already 1/2 hour and fastpass was for 35 min later. Went and got a piece of fruit and coke for breakfast. Went on the Safari then we were going to see Fest of the LK but that wasn't convent. Seeing that most rides now had a 1/2 or more wait we decided to go to MGM studios for the first time this trip. Rode all the major attractions except for RRC and ToT. Noting too special. Lots of questions about how to get Wiggles tickets. Then around 4 we head to Magic Kingdom. Got there just in time to see the Flag Retreat. Then we wondered over to Tomorrowland as we passed by the ice cream place there, Ben pulled me aside and got me a free ice cream for my birthday. around 7 we got on a boat and went to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon. It was great food, It's on my list of places I'd like to eat again. My dad ordered a large coke and it was large. we went back to the resort. Skipping EMH at MGM.

aug 27th Epcot and Magic Kingdom

we arrive at POP at 7am and our room was ready, great room in the 50s building. We drop our stuff off in our room, drop off the rental car and catch the boat from the Dolphin to Epcot. The crowds were large but it was summer and it didn't really make for any long lines. rode Sorin' and Test track with little wait. Spaceship Earth and Universe of Energy with no wait. Around 3pm crowds started to show up, so we hopped onto the Monorail and went to the Magic Kingdom we got there right as the afternoon parade was ending and people were leaving. We went straight back Pirates of the Caribbean, didn't really like it, but that's another story. Then I went and rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and then just fiddled around a semi-crowded park. Left to go have dinner at Chef Mickey's, the food wasn't good, but i did get my first pictures with the characters. Then we headed back to Magic Kingdom it was extra magic hours. We went back to BTMR to start our trek across the park as we were riding in the front. It was going really fast and bumpy. We started up the 3rd hill and we stopped, they said a host/hostess would be right with us. They took us off the train and walked us to the exit where they gave us good for any ride any time we decided that was enough to call it a night.

So it's nearing the middle of the month and July has been interesting. So far
-I walked 6.2 miles on July 4th, Annual Peachtree Road Race, for a crappy t-shirt
-Got a new Razr Phone.
-Ordered a new Camera, Canon Powershot S1, with a wide-angle lens,.that should arrive today(7/10)
-Almost reached 2 years with day(2 years on 7/11)
-47 day until My Disney Trip
-I saw Pirates at 12:00am on Friday(7.8) which was opening day
-Spending my weekends with BF just hanging out at his place
-Going to the Scrapbook Expo on Friday

That's it for now, maybe some more later.

Before the world cup started I didn't really care for it. it was no big deal, but now that it's started and I've watched a couple games, and now I can't seem to miss a game.

Well summer has been crazy. I'm now working days and several of them a week. I'm spending weekends cropping at work with friends and spending time with David(BF) and Brian(his brother). I've been trying to plan 2 Disney trips on for the end of August(27-sept 2) and one for New Years(dec 30-jan 5), Along with 1-2 side trips between then. I've joined a Disney forum and learning everything I can about Disney, I'm working on setting up my own at home scrapbook room. I'm researching new cameras.

So I've been back a few days, and have made up the sleep I missed. It was a fun weekend. David and I left Friday early afternoon and were surprised when we entered the Central Time Zone. We had dinner a funky, but cool restaurant. It was called Aquarium restaurant. It had a tank in the center. Then Saturday we got up and went over to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. This place was huge. I went and took my first class with Donna Downey(see other post) and then I went shopping. I only had 1.5 hours. I went and looked at a couple things I wasn't sure if wanted. Then I went crazy. I came back with a lot of paper. Paisley papers. I got the new Wild Asparagus, some cute Crate Paper(going to have to order more of that), and some other stuff. Then I went to my second class a waterfall album with Amy Williams(from Simple Scrapbooks). Then we started heading towards home. Stopping in Chattanooga to take a shot walk along the river. And went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.

I met Donna Downey today(pictured) I loved her class. I put the bones of the album together in about 8-10min. The theme was supposed to be my life now/my life then. But I'm thinking it's going to be my Nashville/Chattanooga album.

Back to meeting DD, she is an awesome person. While I don't look that excited in the picture I was screaming and giddy as a little school girl, just trying to keep my cool. We took a group shot which can be found on Donna's Blog this week. I took the 9:50-10:50am CST class.

The rest of the trip was kind of uneventful. David has all the rest of the pictures, as he got a new camera and was taking shots every chance he got, so bunches of me.

So I'm still working on my Disney Album, but all I have to do is 1 last page, and then a bunch of titles.

Although, I still need to finish my Aquarium mini album, and now I have a New York album to do, now that bf is back from his trip.

I love going to Disney. I've only been maybe 10 times in my life. David and I went for New Years. (more info in previous posts). It was decided the other day, that we would be returning at the same time next year. I can't wait, but it's 8 months away. Which is okay, it gives me time to finish my 2 Disney albums.

Other Notes:
*I scrapbook most of the time now @ crops. I can't lift my bag any more, it's killing my back and knees. So I'm in the market for a smaller bag. I have a CIS XXL, and I love it. I'm leaning towards a Mimi Large roller, but I'm not sure. It needs to hold a 3-ring binder, a CH Emelishment box, 12x12 paper organizer, and a few other small things.
*I'm doing well towards my goal. I've got titles written out for my Disney book. Just need to sit down and QK it all.

So far I'm 95% done with my Hilton Head album, just 2 pages that need titles.
1 of my disney albums is still sitting at 75% done, waiting for journaling and titles.
the other Disney album is sitting at 50% done, so many blank pages.
My 8.5x11 pages are in an "in progress album" It has room for 100 pages, and then I must file them into their correct albums.

I went to 2 crops this weekend and got 11 8.5x11 layouts done and the last 4 double page 8x8s for my hilton head book.

I love this layout. It just makes me feel me. I hate mornings, I don't need to do them. I get up around noon, watch a little tv, go to work somedays, and just kinda have me time. I go to sleep around 3am getting the most "work" done around midnight.

Overwhelmed with new Stuff

I'm back from Hilton Head(but that's a different post). Until 3 weeks ago, I didn't buy anything too big in scrapbooking. Yet in the past three weeks, I've gotten: The new BasicGrey, Kaleidoscope 3,my first set of Acrylic stamps, many more sets of Acrylic stamps, a Xyron Personal Cutting System, and the some many other things. Just looking at all of this stuff, I feel so stressed to scrapbook. This morning i did manage to make a card with one of my new stamp sets. So I've decided that I'm not buying anything else until I use everything I've bought at least once. I say I last about a week until something new comes in that I want to get.

Going to a crop tonight, I'll post later about my trip to Hilton Head,

Disney Day 3

Day 3: 1/2/2006 The place seemed like a ghost town. Everyone checking out and heading home. One of people I work with was going to be checking in at a different resort. We started our morning at Epcot and got a fast pass to Soarin' the park's most popular ride. Went and rode Spaceship Earth"Inside the golf ball(employees called it that)" and did more autographs and pictures. Goofy and David getting along so well they were like buddies(see day pics below). We then left there around noon and headed for Magic Kingdom, saw the Wishes Come True Parade and rode a bunch of stuff. then around 6pm we went to MGM and learned that they had a lot of things that closed at nightfall. went and rode Star Tours and then had to ride it again because it was the best ride in the "world" says David. Went to "see" Fantasmic but ended up in the standing room only section so I couldn't see anything. there for couldn't take any pictures and bf kept saying "if you don't have pictures it doesn't happen". Then we saw the Beauty and the Beast show and I loved it. We ended up calling it a night around 10pm.

Disney Day 2

Day 2: 1/1/2006We started the morning with Animal Kingdom, hearing all the horror stories of how busy New Years Day was, we prepared for the worse. So we picked the park that would probably be the least busy. There were no wait on Dinosaur the big thrill ride there, and a 10 min wait for the safari. It was only 11 and had done the 2 things we had gone to do. So we went to Rafiki's Plant Watch. And saw a talking trashcan. It was worth the bad train ride. We ate bad lunch and went back for our afternoon nap. At around 6pm we headed to Magic Kingdom, it seemed like an almost dead day. We saw the Spectromagic parade which was cool. and then the wishes fireworks show. Then the parked closed at 12 and magic hours started. We rode a few rides. and around 2am decided to go see who was signing autographs. We got pictures with Mickey and Minnie and I got pictures with Chip 'N' Dale. Then we went over to Goofy. David wore his "Eat. Sleep. Exercise.(watching TV)" Goofy had a ball. He first called over his escort to read it and then the photographer. We decided to call it a night when the Castle got turned back on. The timer had it turn off at 2am. And it was a nice bright white so, we had some pictures taken in front of it. Headed back to the hotel around 2:45 in the morning.

Disney Day 1

Day 1: 12/31/2005
We started our morning at 5am. for no real reason I couldn't sleep and woke David up on accident. We checked out of the Hotel we were staying at for the first night and Headed to the All Star Music resort. Checked in even though our room wasn't ready. We got back in the car and headed to MGM where we knew we'd end the night. Got on a boat and went over to Epcot. This being my millionth trip to Disney I knew the first thing to do was to get a Fast Pass to Test Track. and go ride the Universe of Energy an hour later we were on Test Track and went over to the Wonders of Life pavilion(the last day it was open) and rode Cranium Command and Body Wars. Leaving there we saw how long the other lines were and decided we'd ride them on another day. We started our way around the world. By 3pm we were done with what we were going to do at Epcot for the day. and headed back to the resort. We took a short nap. We were at MGM by 5pm. We rode a bunch of stuff and found our spots for the midnight fireworks. At 11:52pm it was midnight for us. Then all the normal people were asked to leave. Resort stayers get the Magic Hours, where a certain park stays open up to 3 hours after the regular hours. We still called it an early night at 1:30

Our first night at Disney World. We spent midnight at MGM studios. Two of 47,000, Magic Kingdom had over 100,000 people, so we stayed away from there.

Been awhile update

well it's been a long time. Next year I will work on posting more.
This past year I've worked on growing up. I didn't go back to school as much as people had hoped that i would. I didn't want to. I'm still working at my LSS and spending at-least 3 days if not more a month at Archiver's. I'm still with my bf, David, it's been 17 months and going strong. We're going to Disney world for New Year's. My headaches have subsided as well as my knee pain(except when it rains).

A year ago the average age of my friends was 16. This year the average age is 30+. I feel like I'm a 33 year old trapped in a broken down 19 year old body. I figure that by the time I'm 40 I'll need knee replacement.

Next year, I don't plan on going back to school. I don't really have any plans. Just to be happy.

I know that I want to scrapbook, I love it, but (isn't there always a but) I sometimes feel that it's work. Doing projects for others, contests, design team audition. So I've taken a day and thought about what I want. I don't want just any DT, I don't want to win just any contest, I want at some point to be on the SBO(scrapbookeronline.com the place I call home) design team, either as a guest designer or design team member. I want to one of the 25 chosen for the Creating Keepsakes' Hall of Fame. I'll tryout every year until I make it. I'm not saying that I'm not going to stop submit to anywhere else. I just hope someday I can complete my goals. Someday I hope I can complete my goals, and make new ones.

I love Donna Downey, She is my hero. When I grow up I want to be like her. Her Creative Albums inspired me to make this album with some nature pictures i took in 2002. I'm also in the the middle of a project from her photo decor book, and in the planning process of making something from her Decortive Journals book. I don't like idea books, but these I love.

Last weekend Weezer was in town doing a free concert, and I had said earlier in the week that I'd like to go. Well David was going to work Saturday, so I figured he be done in time to go to the concert, but he wasn't and that I totally understood, and when I seemed a little disappointed that we didn't go. He said why didn't you go, There were a ton of people there, but I didn't want to go alone. So we went out on Sunday, and we were at IKEA and we were talking about dinner and there is a great pasta restaurant downtown within 10 min of where we were and i had said that i wanted to go there. and he seemed made that i wanted to go there. It's like my favorite place to eat.

"You can't live with them, you can't live without them" whoever said that knew exactly what i was thinking. Today, David and I usally do random arrend runs, Fry's, Scrapbook stores, Walmat, ect. well today I needed to go to a few places, I had a list and everything, and when I asked where he wanted to go he said IKEA, which was fine it would take an hour maybe 2. Well his brother hasn't been, so we invite his brother along. We get there and the pregame to the Mets game a 3:10 game was starting at 2:45. When we leave it's a little after 6 and the Mets are in Post game. So I didn't get a thing done that I had hoped to. Well David needed to go to the grocery store to get a few things for dinner, so I went with. A little annoyed that I had wasted my entire Saturday at IKEA. He walked over to the flowers and picked up a boquet of daisies (my favorite flower) and gave them to me. The flowers would be a nice gesture to say "I'm sorry" expect that he never gets me flowers. So that annoyed me even more. Well I go home and I start to do other things, and try to replan things so I can do what I needed to do today on Monday. Well he calls me and tells me dinner was canceled and asked if any of the places i needed to go were still open, well it was 8pm, nither of us had eaten and all the places I needed to go were 25 + mins away.
Maybe now looking at it, I may have over reacted a little bit. I have nothing against going to IKEA, it's been open now for a month and I've been there 5 times.

I don't update often, but then I don't know what to tell people that they might actually care to hear. I applied to GPC more then 3 weeks ago. I would think that the Community College would be able to handle an app. In that amount of time.
David and I made it to one year, but it was a rocky day. It was a not so great start to a not so great week. A
I'm thinking about quitting proabaly one of the most awesome jobs I could ever have; working at my LSS. We have a new manager. When I was hired by the old one, I said I couldn't really work weekends unless I had to. And that I could work 15-20 a week. For my last paycheck which was for June 15-30 I had worked 56.18 hours. That just doesn't seem like 15-20 hours a week. I requested weekends off in July and August, for trips that I had planned, and then I requested the weekend off for the Expo here in Atlanta. And the manager basically went off on me. Saying that I had requested more time off then anyone, and that I've requested more days off then she gets off in a year. The days I've requested off have all been weekends, with an occasional Thursday or Monday added on for Travel. I requested off my birthday next month and she like had a hissy fit. But I have plans for my birthday. It's just something I've done for years.
I think that if I didn't request weekends off, they'd have me working everyday of the week, and they've done it. I was the only one as of last week that worked there that didn't have kids. So my schedule was pretty flexible, but it's gotten to the point where they think they can schedule me, for whenever they please. I come in for 2 hour shifts, and it takes me 1/2 hour to get there. I close one night and open the next. I want to quit to find out how things would go down, but at the same time I really like my discount. It makes things more affordable.

David is in Austria for the 10 days. He left on Tuesday and comes back next Friday. the last time he went to Austia he went for 5 weeks, so i guess i won't miss him quite as much. and this time i have more to keep me busy. I've got tons of Scrapbooking to do, I work most afternoons, and have reading to do.

on a side note i'm going to CK Convention in Carlotte for my birthday. i'm taking a lot of classes because i missed CKU Orlando.
